WASHINGTON, DC (October 13, 2009) — Doctors at Fairfax Inova and Johns Hopkins have diagnosed 26-year-old Desiree Jennings of Ashburn, Virginia with a rare neurological disorder called dystonia after she suffered a rare side effect to the seasonal flu shot. She received the flu shot at…

I’m not against vaccines, or science. However, I’m highly skeptical of anyone who is dedicating significant time to coming onto YouTube and promoting this vaccination campaign. I must wonder if there aren’t agents of the US government on here (it’s been admitted) monitoring the communications and promoting the agenda.
This H1N1influenza vaccine campaign has absolutely nothing to do with advances in science. It has everything to do with the media and CDC completely over-hyping a minor outbreak.
“Most people….”
Yes, most people won’t experience adverse reactions. But, are you willing to take that risk? If you are, then you’ve made a personal decision to flip the proverbial coin and vaccinate yourself against a flu that won’t kill you anyways. Congratulations. My personal decision (concurrent with the majority of Americans) is that this vaccination campaign is totally unnecessary, and strangely resembles the campaign undertaken back in the 1970’s – media hype and propaganda included.
I fail to see what vaccines have to do with God. If you’re trying to suggest that God wants us to ignore the advances of modern medical science — or stop trying to advance altogether — I’m going to have to ask for a scriptural citation supporting your claims. I imagine that God would want us using our knowledge to help each other, which is what these vaccines are supposed to do. Sometimes things go wrong, yes, but they usually go right, and we do learn from our mistakes.
You seem to be forgetting to mention (as did the video segment) that these are EXTREMELY RARE side effects. Most people get the shot and are PERFECTLY FINE, with some having mild to severe side effects, just like pretty much any other medicine ever made. Do people get screwed up by vaccines? Yes, but it happens VERY infrequently; we’re talking about less than .001% here. If you’re worried about complications, talk to your doctor before getting the vaccine. In most cases, it’ll be perfectly safe.
i feel so sorry for her. This really touched me. LOL I’m never getting the flu shot.
